A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Best Restaurant with delicious food, friendly service and amazing prices! If you need a good time, a bonding time with friends and family this is the ideal place to have it. Our experience in this restaurant with Carlos and Andres was the best we have had in La Palma, this was our fourth trip to La Palma. It had everything atmosphere, taste and price. A visit to this restaurant is a must! Their speciality is wine. Carlos is very experienced and made the selection for us according to our food, the wine did not overpower the taste of our food but instead enhanced it. Very enjoyable and unforgettable. If you are an expert wine lover or a beginner, this is your place. We felt welcome and learnt from Carlos."
"The staff were friendly and I think the price are reasonable. I had wanted to try the popular cheese thing but it was made from goat or sheep milk which I don't like so anyone who loves it should try because my boyfriend said it was tasty. You really need to make a reservation because once we stopped by here, it was full. So we booked it for the following day and we made it."
"Cosy spot with great food. Convenient location if you are on the road. The dishes have been thought out and are a unique twist on typical island cuisine. There aren’t that many tables so in case you need to wait, it is worth it. Will come back!"
"Super service from front desk & excellent food. For dinner We were recommended, based on how hungry we were, 1 portion on yellow fin tuna poached in wine & spices & 1/2 portion of fried calamari. Plus deserts. All came to only £33. We fully recommend for tourists"
"Best meal in La Palma! Simply wonderful food, fabulous local wine and passionate local hosts. Just first class unforgettable evening!"
"From the outside, this restaurant appears simple, giving little hint of what it truly offers. Inside, it features two nicely designed dining rooms, plus a covered outdoor seating area. Service was quick, knowledgeable, and delivered with a wide, genuine smile. Indoor seating is comfortable and well-spaced. It’s clear that the restaurant prioritizes guest comfort, even if that means having fewer tables. For starters, we ordered the Salmorejo, a chilled tomato soup that was absolutely outstanding. The vegetable salad with banana vinaigrette, sun dried tomatoes, and fresh tuna was also superb. Both dishes clearly reflected the hand of a skilled chef. For mains, we had the Young Cow Entrecotte with homemade potato fries. The portion was generous, cooked perfectly, and the side dish was excellent. We also ordered the Yellowfin Tuna with poached and spiced onion in fine wine, which was delicious and generously sized. Once again, the chef’s execution and technique were evident in every bite. We didn’t order dessert, there simply wasn’t any room left, but the plates we saw at other tables looked very inviting, and people genuinely seemed to enjoy them. Prices are very reasonable, especially for such high quality food and service. We didn’t find parking right next to the restaurant, but a few minutes’ walk away we were able to park on the street for free."
"The restaurant is quite nice. Their mushroom risotto is really good. We came during the most busy time, so we had to wait a bit longer, but nothing terrible. If you are in the town, it is definitely worth trying."
"Great food, very attentive and friendly staff with good English, perfect timing of the food arriving at the table. The waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding ingredients and navigating around multiple allergies was therefore not a problem. The desserts were also delicious. It's a bit noisy outside but still fine for us and the inside looked very nice. Would highly recommend and will come back if in the area again."
